The first question people ask me when they find out I work at Sleepopolis is “What is the best mattress?” and my response is always, “it depends on how you sleep.” With different materials, builds and price points everyone is looking for something different out of their mattress. Having reviewed hundreds of products, I can tell you there is a lot to know and my goal is to use what I’ve learned about mattresses to match you with the perfect bed so you can get a great night’s sleep. Allow me to guide your search and we’ll have you dozing like a dream in no time.

How I Sleep: I’m a stomach sleeper, so I need a firm mattress.

Hey there! I’m Sarah, and they call me the pillow whisperer. Okay, no, they don’t call me that. But I have personally tested dozens of pillows and other sleep accessories from the biggest names in the industry, and I can spot a side sleeper from across the room. It’s my job to research and review everything from sheets to mattress pads, so that you have all the information you need to live your best sleep life.

How I Sleep: I’m a combo sleeper who loves a bouncy hybrid mattress.
Pro Tip: If it’s 100 degrees outside and your new cooling pillow hasn’t arrived yet, spray your pillowcases with a bit of water and put them in the freezer for 10 minutes. They’ll be icy-crisp and ready for some cool snoozing.
