We are a passionate team based out of Brooklyn, NY that is focused on helping you sleep better!
We Love What We Do
Our mission is a simple one: We want to help you get incredible sleep. And how you might ask? By not only conducting extensive research into the subject itself, but by personally testing out the hundreds of mattresses, pillows, blankets, sheets, and gadgets on the market that claim to improve the quality of your slumber.
The Sleepopolis team takes incredible pride in the work we do. We hope that the reviews, news, and sleep information can help you on your personal journey for better sleep. And though the job is fun – it’s not all naps! We love creating content that you enjoy, whether it’s on our site, or a video on our YouTube page. Speaking of the team…
Director of Content
The first question people ask me when they find out I work at Sleepopolis is “What is the best mattress?” and my response is always, “it depends on how you sleep.” With different materials, builds and price points everyone is looking for something different out of their mattress. Having reviewed hundreds of products, I can tell you there is a lot to know and my goal is to use what I’ve learned about mattresses to match you with the perfect bed so you can get a great night’s sleep. Allow me to guide your search and we’ll have you dozing like a dream in no time.
How I Sleep: I’m a stomach sleeper, so I need a firm mattress.
Pro Tip: DO NOT LOOK AT YOUR PHONE IN BED.
Hey there! I’m Sarah, and they call me the pillow whisperer. Okay, no, they don’t call me that. But I have personally tested dozens of pillows and other sleep accessories from the biggest names in the industry, and I can spot a side sleeper from across the room. It’s my job to research and review everything from sheets to mattress pads, so that you have all the information you need to live your best sleep life.
How I Sleep: I’m a combo sleeper who loves a bouncy hybrid mattress.
Pro Tip: If it’s 100 degrees outside and your new cooling pillow hasn’t arrived yet, spray your pillowcases with a bit of water and put them in the freezer for 10 minutes. They’ll be icy-crisp and ready for some cool snoozing.
Heyo, I’m Cody! As news editor for the site, I’m here to give you the low-down on everything that’s going on in the world of sleep, from new tech innovations to breaking research, and industry shake-ups.
How I Sleep: I’m a side sleeper who likes to stretch out on a soft yet supportive all-foam mattress.
Pro Tip: Every night before bed, I spray my sheets with lavender to help me fall asleep.
Chief Research Officer
Hi, I’m Rose, the Chief Research Officer for Sleepopolis. I spend my days deep-diving into the latest scientific research on sleep and writing about all sorts of fascinating slumber-related topics. As a night owl, my circadian rhythm is definitely a work in progress.
How I Sleep: I’m a side sleeper with a weakness for a firm memory foam mattress.
Pro Tip: Almost any sleep challenge can be improved with good sleep hygiene.
